Dr Gina Rushing, DO
Dr. Gina Rushing, DOgraduated from Des Moines University in 1995 with honors and completed her residency at Garden City, MI in 1998. Board certified in family practice medicine, she established Rushing Family practice in 2010. It’s been her life-long dream to own her own practice. She loves her patients, and she considers it a privilege to help care for them. She enjoys travel and going to the beach. She is an extremely proud mother of one daughter.
D Michelle Madkins,
Nurse Practitioner
Michelle came to Rushing Family practice in 2018 with her NP designation after serving the community for decades in a nursing capacity. Michelle received her Nurse practitioner certification in early 2018. One of Michelle’s top priorities outside of work is her family. She spends as much time as she can with her grown children and grandchildren. Michelle also continues to serve the community in her own time by working with hospice and homebound patients in the area.
Melinda,
Nurse Practitioner
She graduated from UT Tyler in 2020 with her masters In family practice. She has 20 years of inpatient and critical care experience. Melinda has two grown children and three grandchildren. She likes to spend time with her husband and family in her free time. She was born and raised in Greenville and is looking forward to serving her community as a nurse practitioner.

Nurse Practitioner
Jennifer has been a RN for 14 years and graduated UTA in 2020 as a Nurse Practitioner. She has a strong background in psychiatry and adult geriatrics. Come on by, we'd love to see you!
Wednesday,
Nurse Practitioner
has been a nurse for over 20 years, working for Dr. Rushing. She graduated with her LVN from Trinity Valley Community College and supports Dr. Rushing in nursing homes throughout Hunt County. Wednesday is married and has two college-age children. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and travels during the year.

Office Manager
Patricia has been with our practice since 2015. Having worked in both family practice and pediatric environments, Patricia is a valuable asset to our team. She was our front office lead for 6 years and has recently been promoted to Office Manager. She enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children.
Jan,
Front Office
Jan comes to us with extensive healthcare front office experience. Jan previously worked in Sulphur Springs in their front office. Jan has spent most all of her life in the area and appreciates the value the community has. She is married, has grown children, two dogs, and enjoys spending time with all of them in her free time.
Ellie,
Certified Medical Assistant
She supports Dr. Rushing at Rushing Family Practice. Ellie came to us in 2014 and continues to be a favorite among patients and staff. Ellie has two grown children and enjoys spending her free time with family and friends.
Rachel,
Certified Medical Assistan
Rachel, who also goes by “Rae”, is a 13-year, seasoned certified medical assistant who currently supports Michelle. Rae remembers wanting to be in nursing since first grade. She loves being there for people and taking care of anyone in need of help. Rae visits patients periodically at home and we receive wonderful compliments on both her personality and caring nature. She has two children and loves spending time outdoors.
